The Rode WS11 is a windshield intended for use with the VideoMic NTG. It is sized specifically to fit the VideoMic NTG, and it reduces wind noise and plosives when slipped over the microphone.
The WS11 is an easy-to-use high-performance windshield for the VideoMic NTG. Designed to for use in windy recording environments, the WS11 combines an open-cell foam surround with an outer layer of acoustically transparent artificial fur. A rubber grip system prevents any wind noise from entering the rear of the microphone pickup area.
